Nikon F100 Back Film Door Broken Latch Metal Repair Kit

Description: This is the Original Kit from the Original Designer. I have since updated to a more corrosion resistant stainless steel variant but I now sell the original mild steel version at a discount. This kit is designed to solve the biggest issue with the Nikon F100 and the similar F80/N80; broken plastic latches on the film door. The kit includes a metal latch machined out of 1018 mild steel and a 3d printed filing guide to assist in only removing the plastic that is necessary for the repair and streamlining installation. This kit will require the end user to purchase a needle file of 1/4" approximate width or similar and superglue to affix the metal latch to the existing plastic. If operating in a wet/humid environment or if corrosion is a fear, I would recommend purchasing the Stainless Steel version which will offer superior corrosion resistance.
