This camera captures stunning detail at 12.3 Megapixels. It may not sound like a lot compared to some of the newer Nikon bodies out there, but unless you are enlarging your images beyond Poster size, you will not be disappointed. The camera has always been very well taken care of. The LCD screens are clear and bright. The rubber grips are in good shape and there are no marks or scratches anywhere on the body! The Shutter Count is 31,278! So that shutter has a lot of life left! I believe they are rated for 150,000 shutter actuations.
