This was caused by the hooks of the hook & loop wrist closure from the opposite glove. Basically, the black exterior of the wrist cuffs mimic the loop material of the hook & loop closure which is why the hooks easily grabbed on to the exterior of the opposite gloves black wrist cuffs. Obviously, when you try to pull apart the hooks and the exterior of the wrist cuffs, fraying occurs because of the pulling apart action. The good news is you can use a cheap fabric shaver to trim down the excess fraying if you want too. Palms Note- These minimally padded Nike D-Tack gloves feature Sticky Hydragrip gray palms. These gray palms are a lot more flexible and softer than the Nike D-Tack black palm version. These gray palms are preferred in wet conditions because of the added tackiness. Also, if I'm not mistaken a lot of offensive lineman prefer these softer gray palms because it's a lot easier to hold a defensive lineman's jersey because of the added flexibility & dexterity. These gray palms almost feel like a soft leather versus the black palm versions which have a thick rubbery feel to them. Some of my listings have free standard shipping(USPS First Class) and others I charge for it. If there is a shipping price for Standard Shipping(USPS First Class) as well as Expedited Shipping(USPS Priority Mail) and you upgrade to USPS Priority Mail, you will only be charged for the USPS Priority Mail option and not both. From my years of Hawaii shipping experience, the 3 to 4 business day delivery starts the next business day after I drop it off at the post office. For example, I drop off the package at the USPS post office on Monday with a estimated 3 to 4 business day delivery time. 4 business days(BD) from Monday would be Tuesday(1BD), Wednesday(2BD), Thursday(3BD) and Friday(4BD). So your package should arrive on the 4th business day which would be Friday in this example. If there are no shipping issues and it only takes 3 business days from Monday then it would arrive on Thursday. Longer delivery times can happen(see below), but 3 to 4 business day delivery is the average time it takes for Priority Mail to arrive from Hawaii. If the item you need is a matter of life and death(no pun intended), you will need 2 business day USPS Express Mail. Much more costly, but I can definitely ship most items Express Mail. Just message me for a Express Mail shipping quote. Can Priority Mail take longer than 3-4 Business Days to be delivered? Unfortunately, yes. First Class and Priority Mail delivery dates are not guaranteed, only estimated by USPS as stated in their "fine print" that most people like you and me don't ever read. On rare occasions where USPS is having local or national logistical issues or is experiencing an unexpected high volume of packages then 5+ business day Priority Mail delivery can happen. As stated above, the holiday season is a notorious time where Priority Mail delays are very common because of the high volume of Xmas gifts. Keep this in mind. No amount of complaining or yelling at a USPS employee is going to speed up the Priority Mail delivery date. Trust me, I've done both. Haha!! The good news is USPS try's at all cost to avoid Priority Mail shipping delays since it's a premium paid shipping service. USPS knows if they were constantly missing Priority Mail estimated delivery times, no one would pay extra for this expedited mailing service. Again, this is why you should always choose the Priority Mail option if you need your item as soon as possible(ASAP). For just a little more than First Class mail, it's your best shot/value besides the pricey USPS Express Mail service to get a package delivered quickly to you from Hawaii. I thought USPS Priority Mail was 1-3 business day delivery? Yes, you are correct if you are shipping from the Continental United States. Shipping out of Hawaii from my experience, is a little different. 1-2 business day delivery is only possible for buyers from Hawaii. 2 business day delivery to even somewhere close to Hawaii like California isn't possible because of the added shipping day caused by having to fly all of our First Class/Priority Mail items by plane to the mainland first. This is why 3 to 4 business day delivery time on average from Hawaii is what you should expect if choosing the expedited Priority Mail shipping option from me. Just to reiterate, the only USPS mail service that has a guaranteed delivery time is Express Mail(roughly 3x's the cost of Priority Mail), but the next closest mailing service that's as close to a guarantee delivery date without being guaranteed is Priority Mail. Go to any USPS post office and they will tell you the same thing.If I upgrade to Priority Shipping can I get my item shipped out on the same day? Only if you order the item before 12 p.m. Hawaii time(M-F) and you "direct" message me right after you place the order so I know you upgraded to Priority Mail, then most times yes, I can ship it out the same business day. The only time I won't be able to ship same day on upgraded Priority orders is if I had something planned previously. I will respond to your message if I can't do same day shipping. This is why you might want to message me prior to placing your order if a day makes a big difference. Same day shipping saves you 1 business day so by all means try to meet the above criteria. Trust me, 1 business day makes a huge difference when using Priority Mail. One day could literally be the difference of you being extremely happy or sadly disappointed with USPS's delivery time. Am I Covered If Something Goes Wrong?I don't offer refunds on the majority of my items now because of mainly 2 reasons. First, because of eBay's revised return policy, I can no longer charge an "automatic" restocking fee for returns. As a result, I was previously losing between $5 to $18+(my shipping cost to you) on every return. With profit margins being so tight, a return can make an item not profitable or not worth relisting again. Secondly, I'm tired of fighting fraudulent returns. Yeah, I win the majority of the fraud cases, but the 1% you lose literally makes you want to quit online reselling for good. It feels that bad. Just ask any online reseller. You can be 1000% right, yet still lose the return claim on a minor technicality. UGH!!! Here's the kicker, even though you win a fraudulent return case, you absolutely do not feel like a "winner" because of the time wasted proving the return was fraudulent as well as the emotional toll it takes on your mental health. I can honestly and sadly say, every dishonest return claim made me lose faith in humanity just a tiny bit. That's no way to live. I finally realized after years of selling, it was not worth the headaches, losing sleep over or most importantly losing faith in humanity. LOL!!! Being a low volume seller means I normally have only 1 or at most a handful of a particular item which makes selling an item(s) now with a no return policy very manageable since eBay easily has over a 100 million customers worldwide. I know offering no returns does affect my sales which is why I ALWAYS go above and beyond when describing and photographing my eBay items so there are absolutely no "surprises" when you receive an item from me. Some of the extra things I do is ship out items no later then the next business day, list overall measurements for clothing items, try to describe every flaw even something as tiny as a store anti-theft tag pinhole, respond to all buyers questions before and after the sale, take high quality HD photos of the item(I never use stock online photos) and if I do make a mistake whether it's in the item description or the item sent; I always make it right with my buyers. I don't like my time wasted and neither do my buyers. The reason I'm writing this long winded "No Returns" policy is to help alleviate the stigma associated with "no returns means something is wrong with the item, it's something nobody wants or I'll be stuck with something I never ordered". Nothing could be further from the truth as explained in the following paragraph.All a No Return Policy does is stop a return because of YOU- buyer's remorse. Some classic examples of buyers remorse are "I changed my mind", "I don't need it anymore" or "I wish I got a different color". It will never ever stop a return if I send you something you didn't order or is not as described. For example, you order a sports jersey from me and I send you a shirt. You order a blue jacket and I send you a yellow one. You order a men's pants and I send you a women's pants. You are covered and protected in all of these situations plus many more by eBay's money back guarantee and will get 100% of your money back. To conclude, I've easily sold over 4000 items going all the way back to my college days and 1000+ items since I stopped accepting returns for the majority of my items a few years back. Many of these items have sold for more than a $100 with a majority of them over $50.
