[Nice] YASHICA ELECTRO 35 GSN Film Camera Spiderman Model 45mm f/1.7 New Battery

Description: YASHICA ELECTRO 35 GSN Film Camera Spiderman Model ( as used in the motion picture) with the sharp 45mm f/1.7 lens. It has a brand New Battery px28 and a new battery adapter, original manual . These cameras originally used a mercury battery, which is now obsolete, so I acquired a batter adapter specifically made for this camera to use a PX28 6v battery to power the light meter. Overall, the camera looks good, it did come from a "smoker", I tried to air it out out and put in a bag with baking soda, it's better, definitely not a a big issue. I cleaned the old light seals from the film door, so it may need new seals The rangefinder focus works, the electronic light meter for the shutter is working . It has that typical Yashica "buzz" when pushing the shutter. It has 2 indicating lights/ arrows inside the viewfinder showing which direction to turn the aperture ring, if there is no light/ arrows displayed, it is ready to shoot. You can read all about this in the manual. The shutter is working, and responds to the camera's settings, the "B" setting works properly. Aperture blades looks good, glass looks good. These are great cameras if you're a collector or want to delve into film photography.... Plus it's pretty c@@l that they chose this camera as a prop in a film! SOLD AS IS
