Nice, working 1981 Midway SOLAR FOX video arcade game RARE CABARET Ships FREE

Description: WORKING DESCRIPTION:This is a nice condition, original, shopped and fully working dedicated Midway SOLAR FOX arcade game. It is all original - inside and out. It is running on all original hardware. Well, except for the new power supply and adapter that will add reliability. I rebuilt the monitor, and it has a perfect picture and should be very reliable. UNIQUE ABOUT THIS SOLAR FOX:Solar Fox is already one of the rarest Midway games out there, even it the most common upright cabinet. But this is actually the "mini-mite" or cabaret version cabinet, which is much rarer. I've seen tens of thousands of games in my 35+ years of buying, selling, and collecting games, and I've never even seen another Solar Fox mini. The joystick is original and feels perfect, and the buttons have been replaced with new ones. I installed new bulbs (marquee and coin lamps), new lock, new T-molding, new feet and foot mounting plates. This is a very nice example of a "survivor" meaning all original and not full of replacement / reproduction parts. None of the corners have been busted and repaired. It doesn't appear to have any water damage - or at least any serious damage. It does have some various scratches and rubs on the sides, but very few and far between. There is a little roughness around the edges of the cabinet. The control panel overlay is original and is 80-90% there, but there are some spots where it is missing. I made a custom plexiglass protector to protect what is left of the CPO, because to my knowledge no one has reproduced this CPO. Once someone does (which is inevitable), you can easily replace this one and then the game will look phenomenal. This one is passable, though, in my opinion. It has new feet and mounting plates underneath. It has a back door, coin box, coin mechs, etc. The game is currently on quarter play and the coin mechs work so you can use it in your coin-op arcade right away. I don't know what else to say that hasn't already been said. Let me know if you have any questions.
