Description: Up for bid is an interesting vintage French North African 800 silver hinged bangle bracelet. The bracelet has an internal circumference of 7 inches, including a 1 1/8 inch gap, and is about 3/4 inch wide. It weighs 27 grams. The sides are decorated with applied ovals with Arabic letters as shown. It is hinged on one aide and has a hinge closure with a removable pin on a chain. It is marked 3 times with the French 800 silver “Crab” export mark and a maker’s mark of [KH] in a diamond. Condition on the bracelet is fairly good. The closure is slightly misaligned, such that is is difficult to get the pin to slide in. There is stubborn tarnish as well. An interesting piece of North African jewelry!
