Nice Heathkit IG-102 RF Signal Generator - Ham Vintage Radio Test Bench IG102

Description: This is a Heathkit model # IG-102 RF Signal Generator. It generates RF signals from 100 kHz through 110 MHz (up to 220-MHz using harmonics, as calibrated on the front panel frequency control.) It has a built-in AF tone generator or it can accept an external audio source. All switches and controls move smoothly.I did apply AC power to the Generator, and while listening to a nearby ICOM Ham Radio Receiver, I was able to hear the Generator output on several HF bands as I varied the front-panel frequency control. Like most vintage units, it will probably need some alignment and calibration. A manual is not included, but like most Heathkit test equipment products, I see that it is available for free on-line download, if you'd like more information.This would be an excellent addition to your Ham Radio or Vintage Radio test bench equipment collection!
