Description: These brilliant square tipped feathers, as we call them, come from a mature male Turkey. While they are mostly black, often you can see iridescent bronze colors depending on the light. Approximate length: 10 - 15 cm Species: Male Turkey These lovely Turkey Feathers are harvested by our family in New Zealand from feral birds. The family business harvests most of their birds for themselves. They eat or share all the meat from the birds, and the frames are used to feed other animals. Nothing is wasted in any of their processes and no poisons were used in the control for the pest birds. The feathers have been vacuumed packed in situ prior to shipping to the US.
