The pads are fine, but as with the pads that come with these type of lids, once you pull them out, they may tear, so watch some YT vids & mount them right the first time. Wedge your finger under the pads to help avoid any tearing if you want to reposition them. It is always good practice for hygienic purposes, to replace them anyway or have a spare set.
