Description: New Oxford Annotated Bible NRSV New Revised Standard Version Genuine Leather Berkshire 9914A Apocrypha This is a beautiful and rare early edition of the New Oxford Annotated Bible, an academic standard for Study Bibles. This edition includes the apocrypha between the OT and NT. I found no writing, though in the intro blank pages where writing obviously was, they were cut out. The early editions had the finest paper quality and leather (either pigskin or Berkshire). If I didn’t have too many NOABs I’d probably not sell this. The binding is stunning with its rich grain and elaborate lines. The page edge gilding is in fantastic condition, with only a few very minor scratches. Firm text block. Flexible, thick, luxurious leather. Impossible to find these days. Stunning, rare, early print. Had one very small section with dog ears.
