Description: Up for sale, is a NEW, never used, Amber Fog Light for Mercedes 123 series vehicles, including 300D, 240D, 300TD, 300CD, from 1977 thru 1985 Part number 1 305 301 026. This fixture was delivered from the factory with a loose Bulb Socket, because it was not properly crimped into place during manufacture, so it was never installed on a car and set aside at the shop for almost 40 years. I reinstalled the bulb socket properly and sealed the seam to prevent corrosion. The lamp is now fully functional with a brilliant gold reflector, a perfect glass lens, and a secure socket that will not rattle, or cause poor electrical connections. The wattage of the light is 55W, using the original 12V Halogen H3 bulb, but these lamps can be fitted with an amber led bulb for much brighter light and lower power consumption.
