He was active in the late 1960s and was named Super Bender in honor of the Supa Fuzz and Sola Sound Tone Bender MK2 Professional (both with the same circuit). The Tone Bender MK2 is also famous for being used by Jimmy Page on the late Yardbirds and early Led Zeppelin albums. The MK2 circuit has three germanium transistors, carefully hand-selected by builder Roman Gilles and thoroughly tuned for the perfect sound. Endless sustain and great tone. With Super Bender, you can experience a variety of distorted sounds just by touching your guitar's volume or attack control.
