Formerly Neomammillaria standlleyi, Briton et Rose, 1923, etc. Nice clean plant grown from seed, on own roots. Size is aprx. 2 inches wide and 1 3/4 inches tall max. Native originally to the states of Chihuahua, Sonora and Sinaloa, Mexico. Very attractive red to purple flowers when blooming, the plants themselves have a lot of contrast between the spines, wool and body- a really beautiful plant! Hardy and fairly easy to grow in most climates, but must be protected from frost and freezing. These do not seem to be much available, we see none on eBay.
