These gloves are much thicker and far more durable than the cheap nitrile or latex dipped gloves that wear out a couple times a year. I find them a bit warmer than normal gloves due to the thickness and materials used, but they're not hot during the summer either. They fit very well and have nice added features like spandex in the fingers and back closures, as well as a foam padded inner lining in the palm and knuckle strips for comfort and flexibility. Definitely more comfortable than the Minelab digging gloves as I've had them as well. These are great for wet, muddy weather as they dont immediately leak through like the cheapo gloves and they provide better warmth and protection. More durable, more comfortable - a great combination! A bonus feature is that they are touch screen compatible so if you're using a GPS app like Gaia or you're tracking your finds with something like Tect O Track, you can quickly mark off your information without having to take off your gloves!
