Description: For your consideration: This lovely and very sturdy glazed terracotta planter by New England Pottery is made in Portugal and decorated by hand with loosely sketched and handpainted fruit in blue, green and orange watercoloring over a white base color. Rim and bottom is also lightly painted in an orangey pastel color. Fun and elegant at the same time! Does not have a drain hole, so lining the bottom with a few rocks before planting is recommended. Pot is in very good preowned condition with only very light crazing in surface glaze (see last photo, does not take away from beauty and is hardly noticeable with the naked eye), terracotta itself is still intact with no chips or cracks.
