Description: Please contact us if you are interested in a shorter length of this fabric. Please be advised this is a "dead stock" length of fabric, or old new stock. It has no flaws, with the exception of a handful of very faint brownish spots that seem to be "age spots", but no pics of them were posted, as they are truly of not consequence, in our opinion. There are no smells. It measures 188" in length, and 24" in width. The length comes to be just a tad above 5 yards. For comparison purposes, the bed in the pics is size double. The fabric with its stripes is very similar to the one used in old French feed sacks, but we are not sure if this particular type was intended for that use. Please be advised the term "metis" is applied to a type of fabric that is 50/50 linen/cotton. This seems to be a metis lin, so it is probably not pure linen. We haven't found so far any reference to a French company named Fleur Blueu, but fabrics with that print on them are sold on eBay and elsewhere. We placed a price of $ 25 per yard as starting bid. The Buy-It-Now price is equivalent to $45 per yard. We combine shipping.
