Description: NEVER FAR FROM HOME, is an 8x10 original acrylic painting of a Cottontail Rabbit never far from the safety of a sage brush or juniper. I am a self-taught artist. I've been painting and sculpting for 30 years. I have always loved animals and have lived closely with them in rural Montana, so they are my favorite subject in my paintings. My style of painting is Impressionism. I try to push color as much as I can. I use thick strokes of paint to give the painting a rich texture. My paintings are all similar in style and subject so they look good together in small groups but strong enough on their own to offer an accent to any area.
