Description: This listing is for a beautiful planter/trinket dish manufactured by the Nelson McCoy Pottery Company. The back stamp dates this piece between 1934 and early 1940s. There is just enough of the original price tag remaining on the bottom to see that it was sold at Woolworth Co.! It stands about 2" tall and has a footprint of 5 1/2" X 8". No chips, cracks, or evidence of unusual wear EXCEPT one bottom unglazed corner has a small fleck out of it. (See close up photo). This may well have happened during manufacturing. When upright and being used, that area is invisible. Some glaze skips that are inherent in the manufacturing process. Absolutely lovely. Will be wrapped with care and shipped with GOBS of packing material. I am listing many other items on eBay, including many pieces of vintage and antique planters, vases, and art pottery, as well as other early McCoy pieces. Please check my other items, as I will be happy to combine shipping. I do not accept returns. Please examine the photos and description carefully, and ask questions if you are unsure. ABSOLUTELY NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES.
