Description: This retro NCR computer is quite the oddity! It started life as a cash register computer, and has been refurbished by our trained technicians! It's powered by an Intel Pentium III-E processor that runs at 800MHz. This machine has 256MB of RAM (TONS for Windows 98), and a 60GB Hard Drive. It runs Windows 98 Second Edition. Our technicians have installed all the drivers and Windows 98 updates, including the USB flash drive driver. These are ready to go out of the box for retro work or play! If you're looking for a retro, period correct Windows 98 desktop, it doesn't get any better than this! This computer has TONS of connectivity- FOUR serial ports, five USB ports, a parallel port, and a floppy drive.Graphics are handled by an ATI Rage 3 XL PCI card. There is a second PCI slot available if you'd like to install another add-on card. This computer could be used as a mild gaming machine, but we feel it's best suited for an industrial environment due to it's lack of an AGP slot. Please note that this computer only has one PS/2 port. We were able to install a USB mouse by using the keyboard to move through the prompts. You could go this route with one of the five USB ports, or you could use a serial mouse if you'd rather. This computer gives you lots of options! Please review the photographs for cosmetic details. These are pretty nice looking computers for the age, but all older computers have some scuffs and scrapes. These were used in a corporate environment, so they were moved around. This computer has case scratching, dings, and yellowing. Expect some minor dings, scuffs, and scrapes, as to be expected with used computers. This particular computer has yellowing to the front panel. They're not new computers, but they're not bad looking machines. Please note that this computer runs Windows 98, an operating system that has been out of support for around two decades. We strongly recommend that you do not attempt to use this computer on the internet. We sell plenty of modern computers, but this isn't one of them.
