Unit will ship in original box. WORTH NOTING: I will transfer the applicable licenses for KK and the Select library that was provided with the unit. Many listings do not include the software which is absolutely necessary to take advantage of the unit as anything other than a generic midi controller. With the KK software (included with this purchase but presently 69$ at the NI store if you buy a unit without software.) The KK instruments are certainly NOT generic controllers. This Mk1 device offers great crealtime control features of all "nks" compatible vsts. That includes just about everything from NI and many, many ,many other companies (incl Arturia V collections which I use alot with this keyboard and literally a huge number of other vsts) The keybed on this unit is a Fatar synth action and might just be the best on the market. You must know this before you buy ANY mk1 or mk2 keyboard: The latest version of Komplete Kontrol software (V3 and above) does not support the mk1 boards. That is because the Mk3 boards are really a different beast. The Mk2 boards can use the v3 software but NI is not promising much further support for mk2. So understand before you buy anything that Mk1 keyboards will continue to function, as they always have, with v2.9 software. Mk2 boards can use the v3 software but the Mk2 hardware is quite limited compared to the mk3 and from what I have read prob will not be supported much beyond their current status. REMEMBER: Price INCLUDES KK software and the KK Select library. You NEED the software in order to have real time control over nks VSTs. Without software, you can use as generic controller but you would have to program every control function for every vst manually (<- dreadful!) If you buy a unit without software, it will cost 69$ to purchase it. Just something to consider. I know I said that twice but it is important!
