Description: Primitive art dried gourd bowl in the Native American style. Bottom says Black Hawk Woman (Sauk tribe?) but that is completely unverified. It is, however, verified a very unique, almost quirky piece of dried gourd craftwork where the natural discoloration patterns in the gourd were outlined and turned into animals/flower people. Very lightweight with a leatherwork rim. I am amused every time I look at this piece.
