This is the original release on Public Service Records of Nathaniel Rateliff's The Wheel project. CD packaging and disc itself only credit album to The Wheel. A later pressing credited the album to Nathaniel Rateliff & The Wheel.CD booklet features lyrics for every song except "When We Were Towers.""'Whimper and Wail,' 'My Hanging Surrender' recorded at Rocky Mountain Recorders by Andrew Vastola. All other songs recorded at my house on eight track. All rights reserved Nathaniel D. Rateliff."
