Any moisture in the air will oxidize the raw steel and cause surface rust. We do not paint or recommend painting campfire rings, as any paint you use will burn off when you start a fire. If you do want to paint it, do the following:1. Buy some thermal paint in a can.2. Sand the ring with sandpaper or an electric sander to remove any traces of rust (if there is any).3. Wipe off any dust that accumulated while machining the ring with a dry rag.4. Degrease the ring with solvent or any other degreasing agent.5. Paint the ring. If there is paint left in the can, do a second coat of paint after the first coat of paint has dried.After some time, the ring will need to be repainted, as the paint will break down from the temperature.📌 HOW TO ORDER:1.
