Fabric By Cone Mills". Garage sale find, new unwashed fabric with one side of the cut uneven with shapes left being cut by the previous owner. The width is 46.5" with selvages and 45.5" without selvages. This vintage Cone Mills cotton corduroy fabric has Sesame Street's Big Bird with Ernie and Numbers. It is a multicolor pattern with yellow, orange, blue, white, black, and red on a rust-brown background. The characters and number blocks are between 2" and 3.5" H x 1.5" to 3" W. Vertical repeat: 15.25"Horizontal repeat: 9" with a 7.5" drop. The photo with two rulers shows the wooden ruler in a cross-grain direction (horizontal). This is a collectible fabric, but it would also make beautiful children's clothing, nursery and playroom decor, and corduroy quilts.
