Description: Apparently issued as a book or portfolio containing Lefler's illustrations in identical form to the original publication "Mozart, 12 Poems " by Richard Specht. Published by Verlag M.Munk, Viennna, 1914. Rarely found or offered. MOZART: 12 Illustrations pub: Julius Wisotzki, Chicago. No date circa 1920. This item consists of printed cover with oval illustration, title page, & 12 - 13" by 10" cream colored textured cardboard pages with blind stamped center depression and 10" by 7.5" tipped on illustrations on glossy paper in oval shape with gilt art nouveau borders. Cover is trimmed to 12.25" by 9", all others are 13" by 10". Cover has some wear, edge tears & soiling, all other pieces in like new condition. Lefler (1863-1919) an exponent of Viennese Jugendstil, designed posters, furniture, clocks, & stage sets besides illustrating books, and was a leading artist at the time of the Secessionist movement.
