Description: This German engineered and manufactured bazooka base is milled out of a single piece of hight grade aluminum. There are no joints, no hinges, nothing folds which means that there are no mechanics that can buckle and fail. It's just completely indestructible, I can't imagine any combination of camera plus support, plus operator seat that would add up to a payload, that will make this base even break into sweat. You would think that thing must weigh a ton but it actually carries comfortably with one hand. The aluminum is just really high grade. The base is small enough to fit in the trunk of even the smallest economy car. There are three leveling screws, a spirit level and a Euro starter. It has tapped M12 holes for a junior pin starter that serves to mount an operator seat. The junior pin starter that comes with this setup is ever so slightly bent but with a little extra elbow grease at the last twist it mounts well and does its job. The knurling on one of the leveling thumb screws has suffered a little. The base itself has a few surface dings and scratches, none of which is impeding its functionality.
