This plant contains hennotannic acid and, when mixed with hot water, will coat the hair. This style of hair pigment seals in oils and tightens the cuticle giving your hair a rich, healthy shine. Our botanical hair color is not suitable for temporary tattooing.An herbal hair tint application will blend naturally and fade gradually without noticeable regrowth. The color may last up to three months and can be applied every 4-6 weeks if desired. They easily adhere to the hair cuticle and penetrate the cortex region of the hair to develop color through a natural oxidation.Hair PreparationColor may be applied to damp or dry hair that is clean. Towel dry if needed. Apply cream or oil around the hairline, ears, and neck to avoid staining your skin.Color PreparationMix with lukewarm water, approximately 104° Fahrenheit, and stir to make a creamy paste.Hair ApplicationWear plastic or rubber gloves to avoid staining your hands.1.Separate hair into 1-inch thick sections.2. Using a brush, begin at the scalp and paint paste onto hair from roots to ends.3. Continue applying until all hair is thickly coated with the mixture.4. Place a cotton or tissue band around the hairline. Cover hair with a shower cap and let sit until desired color is achieved.5. Rinse hair thoroughly with clean plain water.
