Description: Now for your hot rodding pleasure we have mopar 440 FORGED CRANK short block engine builds for your mopar musclecar, truck or street rod. COMPLETE- CAM TO PAN! These are built on quality 440 castings that have been cleaned, inspected, pressure tested. All blocks are checked for any damage, and then bored with appropriate torque plate, Crank saddle checked and line bored if necessary. Then after thorough washing block is painted customer requested color (Correct Chrysler HEMI ORANGE shown here), new cam bearings installed, new freeze plugs and screw in pipe plugs installed, New distributor bushing *Block is assembled with all new Clevite or King bearings and forged crank goes in for initial fitting *After trial fit passes , crank is installed with new Fel pro rear main seal & ARP main bolts *All fresh 440 SOURCE rods with ARP bolts and ICON FORGED/ KB pistons and advertised pump friendly 10.4 comp w/ press fit pins W/ 75CC HEADS. Spirolox clips used when applicable pistons/rods chosen - we use the higher comp pistons with alum heads to offset the BTU loss of aluminum. *Each rod and piston is trial fitted to ensure perfect fit *New Hastings OR Total Seal Moly ring set- top ring fitted appropriately for KB piston with extended gap for piston crown expansion *all new Clevite or King bearings for connecting rods and mains *new windage tray and hardware- not shown *all new HV63 Melling pump and new 3/8 pick up appropriately picked for matching pan *HD intermediate oil pump/ distributor shaft *all new oil pan and Fel Pro gasket /seal set- 6 qt 440 source PASSENGER CAR pan- 7 qt standard and low profile pans available optionally- TRUCK AVAILABLE- PRO TOURING PAN SHOWN IS AVAILABLE AT A HIGHER COST *Comp HYDRAULIC COMP Cams Xtreme Energy Camshafts Advertised Duration 284//296, Lift .511 - choppy idle but enough vacuum for power brakes(other cams available) a wicked fast street cam with 3.55 gears and up! * Howards Hydraulic lifters- excellent quality *Cloyes tru roller timing set and new cam bolt and washer *chrome fuel pump block off *new chrome timing cover *new HP SFI balancer for internal balance for forged crank- NOT A USED BALANCER UNLESS YOU WANT OEM STOCK *all new grade 8 hardware MANY OPTIONS AVAILABLE and more....these are just some examples - contact for options 12mo 12k warranty on parts and materials under normal circumstances This is a stock photo and engine will be built to your specs All complete engines are pre run on our Top of the line PRW engine module Turnaround time is about 12-14 weeks, depending on how busy we are, and we don't have a core charge.
