Description: Mollenhauer OboeDescription I took a new photo (not a good one...). Cocobolo wood, silver plated. This oboe was temporarily imported by Mollenhauer. It seems to have cost more than 2 million at that time. It has a round and deep tone, which is typical of German oboes. It is in very good condition with no signs of use. It has been fully tuned by a specialist in Tokyo this year, so it is ready for immediate use. The tampo has been replaced. The plating is also in good condition, but there may be some age-related changes (light polishing scuffs, minor scratches, etc.). There does not appear to be any traces of warae, but please note that if the instrument has been well repaired, you may not be able to tell. (Especially on brown instruments, it is almost impossible to tell whether it is the wood grain or the marks from the repair of the wares.) The instrument comes with a genuine case and cover. I am selling this instrument because it is a treasure and I would like someone who will take good care of it to play it.
