That said, the MkII eclipses its forerunner with 15 new HX-derived delay models, a selection of ear-grabbing reverbs, and 1- and 4-switch loopers with up to 240 seconds of recording time, which is expandable to several hours via the pedal's microSD slot. You also get an XLR microphone input, comprehensive MIDI connectivity and control, switchable true/buffered/DSP bypass, and an expression pedal input. For example the bulky power adapter is way slimmed down (see pic #4). They slimmed down the size of the pedal (see pic #5). The switches are greatly improved. There is no more volume drop because now you can set the volume level. It has extended loop times (can be extended even more with SD card). It's got a place for a dual impedance mic, and even has midi hookups if you are so inclined. That's all wonderful, but we took it further: A whole lotta love went into this pedal! This DL4 MKII comes complete with our Ultimate Expression Mod, plus a little surprise.-Check out the three added switches and LEDs there at the top of the pedal. The extra switch and LED on the upper left gives you the Loop Mod (I knew secretly you wanted to know about the surprise first). Step on the switch, the LED comes on, and no matter where you have the pedal set you are now in the Loop Sample. Step on the switch again and you automatically return to your original setting.-The extra switch and LED near the middle is for the double presets mod. You can have two customized delay effects on each switch from the same category. For example, I like setting it up so I can have a slow repeat, but also a fast repeat option on the same switch.-And then there is the switch and Led on the upper right for the expression mod which has also been added to this pedal. You won't need to find extra space for an expression pedal, this one is built in! With the expression pedal/knob you can scroll from one extreme to the next, or anywhere in between. How cool is that?The switches are a little close on this one due to limited space inside the pedal.
