Description: This is a mini M&M Olympic Soccer figure in red. Figure measures about 1.5"/4cm. The face has a BLANK FACE, with face sticker MISSING. Figure is otherwise complete & in mint condition. This is from a series called "M&M's Land", one of a set of 6 Olympic figures released in France, Germany & Belgium in 1991. This was released long before the French Pocket Surprise figures were released in France. It was very likely a similar unknown "Surprise" figure included with a pack of M&Ms. The "M&M Pocket (or Pochette) Surprise Figures" were released only in France, in a bag contained 18 M&M candies and a capsule. The capsule contained a surprise M&M figure or toys, you never know what you get with your purchase. Surprise items included 3 dimensional plastic figures (the scarcest & most desirable), flat sticker figures, jigsaw puzzles, stencils, as well as toys & games, some M&M related, others not. The first wave of figures & toys was released in the fall of 1997 and were available less than one year, in the fall of 1998, the second wave was released, in fall of 1999 some third wave figures were mixed with the second wave figures & toys.
