On October 4, 2019, the Tampa Bay Rays visited the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park for Game 1 of the ALDS. Justin Verlander started for the Astros, while Tyler Glasnow was on the mound for the Rays. The Rays got hits from Austin Meadows, Tommy Pham, Brandon Lowe, Joey Wendle, and Eric Sogard, but lost to the Astros 6-2. On October 7, 2019, the Astros visited the Rays at Tropicana Field for Game 3 of the ALDS. Zach Greinke started for the Astros. Charlie Morton started for the Rays. The Rays got hits from Meadows, Pham, Ji-Man Choi, Lowe, Travis d’Arnaud, Kevin Kiermaier, Willy Adames, and Duffy. In the bottom of the second, Duffy pinch hit for Yandy Diaz and replaced Diaz at 3B. Duffy grounded out against Greinke. In the bottom of the fourth, Hector Rondon replaced Greinke to face Duffy. Duffy singled to George Springer in CF. Duffy scored when Meadows followed him with a double. In the bottom of the sixth, Duffy faced Wade Miley and lined out to Aledmys Diaz in LF. In the bottom of the eighth, Duffy faced Josh James and singled to Michael Brantley in RF. The Rays staved off elimination by beating the Astros 10-3. As noted above, this helmet is MLB Authenticated as game used by Duffy for both Games 1 and 3 of the 2019 ALDS. It has a 2019 Postseason sticker and Duffy’s number (#5) on the back.
