Description: MING TOMBS CHINA C1875 Magic Lantern Slide VICTORIAN ANTIQUE PHOTOGRAPH An early image from the set " China and the Chinese" produced by York & son. Dated by myself to around 1875 based on dating other sets this slide came with and the fact the glass is thick which is an indication of age as this became thinner as technology improved. The slide normally has a inner paper border and then the slide is then held together with edging paper.
