Mike was coached by HOF Coach Ara Parseghian at Notre Dame and in Mike's senior year he was a consensus All-American. That same year in 1969, Mike was named the College Lineman of the Year by the Associated Press. He was so dominating in his senior year that the Packers chose Mike with the No. 2 pick of the 1970 NFL Draft. Mike played seven seasons with the Packers before going to play for the Oakland Raiders, New York Giants and Detroit Lions.
