Description: Mid-Tunnel Frisco Wassell TankThese brand new Wassell style tanks are killer for your chopper, bobber, or brat style build. The mid-tunnel looks great and hides the frame more than a low tunnel frisco. The mid-tunnel depth was a commonly used custom tank back in the late 50's and early 60's so it's a great option for a period style build. This particular tank has a screw-in bung for late style gas caps, so you won't be sloshing fuel out like the old bayonet caps did. Approximately 1.8 gallon capacityTank dimensions are 8-1/4" wide and 14-1/2" longMounting tabs measure 16-1/4" from end to endTanks have a 3/8" NPT petcock bung on right side and two 1/4" NPT petcock bungs in the rear of the tankThe dual 1/4" NPT bungs are the answer when running dual carburetorsExcellent quality vintage style tank for a great price Note: It is highly recommended to fit your gas tank to your bike before painting. Check for clearance or mounting issues as different combinations of triple trees, risers, and handlebars may cause clearance issues when turning. Tanks are pressure tested but it is highly recommended that you or your painter pressure test it again before painting; it's cheap insurance! I personally run any tank bare for a few weeks before painting just to be on the safe side. Bare tanks look cool anyway.Part Number: 81020 *Please see return policy before bidding on this product*Buyer is responsible for shipping*Shipping in the Continental U.S.A. only*No PO Boxes
