Description: Shipping | Policies Vintage 10.5' Danish Rosewood and Mahogany Dining Table by Skovby; 3 Extensions Striking mid-century Rosewood and Mahogany dining table by Skovby of Denmark measuring just over 125" long. Beautifully figured Rosewood bookend veneers cover the top of this oval table. A solid mahogany ogee edge bands the top and leaves. The legs are solid mahogany as well, and the underlying framework is solid wood as well. A unique structure supports the three leaves when the table is extended - there are actually two frames - a central stationary one that supports the oval section that separates. Both pieces have four legs, with gives the table strong structural support when extended, and a unique design when compressed to its basic oval shape. The leaves have the same mahogany edge trim as the table, but the tops are matte black Formica. Rare design. Two latches bind the two core parts of the table together. There are custom pads for the table and its three leaves. The Skovby label is mounted to the underside of the table top. The legs can be removed. In exceptional condition. The Rosewood top is exceptionally clean with little to no wear. One very fine surface scratch about 4" long, all extremely minor. The legs are very clean and show little wear and no issues - no vacuum cleaner dings, etc. The three leaves have some very minimal wear on the black laminate and at the edges where they each butt up to each other. The table is structurally perfect, sits level and without issue. We rate this a 95% compared to new condition. All original. Measurements: The table is 68.5" long and 43" wide. It stands 29" tall.
