Michel Delacroix Winter Paris City Street Scene Signed & #'d Lithograph 1970s

Description: Signed and Numbered Lithograph image by Michel Delacroix (French Artist: b. 1933). Titled: "In Winter". According to my insurance appraisal from the gallery where I purchased this in 1977 - which I had updated in 1985, this was printed on Japon paper. Delacroix studied at the Lycee Louis-le-Grand. He has had numerous one man shows as well as group exhibitions all over Europe. His primitive style in his paintings and graphics combine structure and detail with rich color to convey the bustling, diverse activity of the street of his native city, Paris. This signed lithograph is numbered 88/100 in roman numerals in the bottom left corner - in pencil. And it is signed in the lower right corner in pencil. I had it gallery framed when I purchased it - and double matted as you can see, with an off white linen matte. And it has a beautiful solid wood frame (no nicks or scratches) surrounding the plexiglass. The wood frame makes it fairly heavy. Dimensions with frame: 33" length/width, 30" high, and 1" deep. Image size is 23" wide and 19 1/4" High. It has been hung on a wall, out of direct sunlight, for over 40 years. Colors do show up differently depending on what kind of light is reflected at certain times of the day. It's difficult to get a great photo of it, without getting lots of reflections. The sky and the street are a bit more blue than the photos represent. The bio that I taped to the paper on the back of the image, has been there since purchase.
