The note is in a color combination of red and yellow. Its obverse features the 37th president Venustiano Carranza and Chairman of Congress Luis Manuel Rojas swearing before the Constituent Assembly after amending the constitution. It also features an open book in green-to-gold Optically Variable Ink. The reverse of the note depicts the bank seal and congressmen swearing to observe and enforce the Mexican Constitution. The banknote contains a green-to-gold RollingStar Cube windowed security thread. It also has a watermark that reveals an eagle on a cactus and an electrotype 100. The note is 134 x 66 mm in size and is signed by Alejandro Alegre Rabiela and Agustin Guillermo Carstens. This commemorative banknote is in uncirculated condition.
