Description: Here is a c1950s souvenir menu and wine list from Castagnola Restaurant. Castagnola's is a historic restaurant in San Francisco California on the city’s Fisherman’s Wharf. The restaurant is famous for its crab cocktail. It is the oldest restaurant on the Wharf. After founder Thomaso Castagnola, introduced the crab cocktail at the Panama–California Exposition. He opened the first crab stand on Fisherman's Wharf in 1916, selling fresh crab to passersby. He and his family owned and operated the restaurant until it was sold in 1975. I understand it is still in operation. The menu is 6 ¾” x 12 ¾” and 6 pages. The wine list is 5 ¼ x 8 ¼” and 4 pages. The menu has some light edge wear. Wine list is good.
