Description: These are factory second boots. The only defect in the boot is that the stitching is coming off at a small portion on the back of one boot. It should be an easy fix for a cobbler. These have been my winter boots, so I haven’t had a chance to fix them. Being chelsea boots they are easy to put on. They are rugged as well as stylish; hence they replaced my regular winter boots other than when it snowed heavily. The waxy commander leather repels water and the nap is revealed over time resulting in excellent patina. The boots have developed a great patina already. You can rewax them if you want a less nappy look. They require little maintenance other than wiping them with vinegar solution when they have salt stains. I am only letting then go as they are half a size too small for me. They are a US Men's 6.5 (UK 5.5) and Women's 8 according to the Meermin website.
