Description: Very rare game worn jersey from the now-defunct CWHL's Calgary Inferno. This purple alternate-style jersey was used for just one special night during the 2015-16 season. The purple DIFD heart is the symbol for the "Do It For Daron" movement which supports education, awareness, and research initiatives that encourage young people to talk openly about mental illness and to ask for help when needed. Additionally, there is a Sheldon Kennedy Child Advocacy Centre patch. Star defenseman Meaghan Mikkelson is a mainstay with Team Canada having won two Olympic gold (2010, 2014) and one silver (2018) medals in addition to eight World Championship medals (two gold). This size L by Athletic Knit doesn't show any visible game use as it was worn for only one game. It was signed by Meaghan on the back #2 in silver paint pen. All jerseys of this style were signed and sold by the team for charity. CWHL game jerseys have become and will continue to be difficult to find as the popularity of the PWHL grows.
