Description: Sale is for a Mid-Century vintage cup and saucer set. Hand-painted floral design features a colorful array of flowers all the way around, then decorated with gold leaf scallop type pattern with crosses below the band of flowers. As well, there is gold on the cup’s rim and handle and the foot of the cup. The same floral and gold patterns are repeated on the saucer. The cup measures 3 3/8” across (not including handle) and 2 1/2” tall. The saucer measures 5 5/8” across. There is no maker’s mark on either the cup or saucer. Upon inspection I could find no chips, cracks or repairs on either piece. Overall, this cup and saucer set is in wonderful vintage condition, with only some very slight loss of gold in the handle.
