Description: This is a very hard to find magazine. I am not for sure why they are rare but they are. I am not sure if they were a short print or if most of them were just simply thrown away. I buy a lot of books and magazines and I very seldom ever find the Saturday Review magazine at an Estate Sale. When I do find them I always snatch them up because of the rarity of the magazine. You will very seldom see a duplicate of the same magazine on EBAY at the same time due to short supply of this magazine. It is hard to believe this magazine is over 50 years old but it is. The magazine was well taken care of. It looks like it has been read sparingly. I went through every page in the magazine and they are all in perfect shape. There are no torn pages, no marks and no handwriting on any of the pages inside the magazine. There is a very light crease at the top right corner on the front cover page see photo #4 and there is some numbers in blue ink on the left bottom of the front cover page see photo #2. The good news is it is a little hard to see because the ink blends with the black top the lady is wearing. Please note: Back in the early 1960's these magazines were delivered by mailman to the home address. Back then there were no PO boxes but just simply a very small mail box hanging on the front porch. So, in order to place the magazine in the mail box the mailman would have to fold the magazine for it to fit. So, that being said it is normal to have a light crease down the middle of the front and back cover page of the magazine. If you find one that does have a crease that would normally mean the person was out on front porch when the mailman happened to come by so mailman handed the magazine to the person. This magazine does not have a light crease in the middle of the front cover page. Yes, I did say mailman because back then there were simply no women that carried the mail so everyone was a mailman back them. If you have been in the market for this magazine don't wait too long because once it's gone it's gone.IWHBOX21
