Mattel 1980 Beauty Secrets Barbie Doll Head #1290

Description: For your consideration is a near mint example of a Beauty Secrets Barbie head by Mattel! This gorgeous head was recently taken out of the original box and removed from the original body that had broken hands. It has never been played with! Her hair has been washed, conditioned and restored with boiling water. Her layered bangs were lightly trimmed to be slightly more even across her face. The part in her hair was rooted off center and looks like she has a side part. Very unusual to see on this particular doll. Her face screening looks nice. The only flaw I noticed is a small puncture hole on the helix of her left ear. Her long hair can easily cover this flaw. Her hair has been styled back in the original twist with a replacement rubberband and includes a replacement plastic band to keep her bangs down.
