Description: This is a carefully tested set of industrial-grade 12AU7 tubes, type 5814A from the 1950s, with black plates, square getters and triple-mica construction for low noise and smooth sound. These have identical etching and all eight triode sections tested for emissions between 95 and 105% on my calibrated TV2 tester, i.e. in the "new" range although they may have been used because the chalky paint mfr. logos are gone. I guess these to be Raytheon because I have one identical tube that does have a "Raytheon" label and box, That said, tube manufacturers including RCA, Sylvania, GE and Tung-Sol often relabeled each others' products.
