Description: MARX Vintage William Wm Crooks 1st. Div. St. P. & P.R.R. O27 Train Set #1. Yes you get 3 cars! These engines are fragile, this one has a broken hand rail support on one side but you have to look close to see it. No other apparent breaks. There are NO Rails on the engine. Engine has some light scratches and scuffs, it runs smoothly in both forward and reverse and both the headlight and smoke unit work. It is missing the "ornamental valve" behind the #1. Gold painted parts are nice, drive rods are bright, engine, wheels and third rail pick up show little wear. Tender ( 1st. Div. St. P. & P.R.R. ) lettering is faded out as usual. The passenger and baggage cars lithography is good, smoke stacks are missing , hand rails there, but all 3 cars show some light rusting in places and a little under the lithography. The have scratches which are shown in the pictures. Overall a decent looking and nice running set.Buyer to pay 14.95 shipping
