Description: Marx Recast 70mm Scale "Warriors of the World-Type" Romans - Toy Soldiers - set MX005nb 12 unpainted figures in 6 poses The 70mm Romans were originally produced for the Marx Warriors of the World range of painted, boxed soldiers. These recasts were made in the 1980s, and have not been molded since. All except one were cast just as they appeared originally. But the fellow with the rectangular shield (third from the left) was molded without a sword, due, one imagines, to a flaw in the original mold which prevented his sword from being present. It look like he is shaking his fist! (Cast in metallic maroon color). All figures are in mint condition, having been purchased by us from the manufacturer in the early 80s. The set is composed of 12 figures in all 6 poses. You will not receive 2 of each pose, however. There is some variation from set to set so the contents of one may be different from another. You will receive at least one of every pose.
