Description: Here is an O gauge Marx 0-4-0 mechanically powered (windup) #898 black stamped steel steam engine with matching 551 New York Central 6 inch lithographed tender! The engine shell is in mediocre shape, with heavier normal playwear. I have posted a short video of the engine running, and it does seem to wind and run okay, but could likely benefit from a thorough cleaning and lubrication to run even better! The tender is in decent shape, just normal playwear, and is black with the white New York Central lettering. Has 4 stamped metal wheels on metal axles, and riveted tab and slot type couplers. Photos show the engine and tender from all 6 sides, with a yardstick in the shots for size reference, plus a closeup of the front underside, so you can see that the holder for the flint is still here (you'll need to add a flint to make the sparks shoot out of the stack like they used to). The original windup key I got with it IS included. Priced to sell, with only actual USPS Ground Advantage or Priority Mail shipping on the nearly 2-pound package charged!
