Description: 8.5” enameled metal Commodore Vanderbilt loco, made 1940’s, possibly early 50’s. It is original red finish has late wind-up motor with black metal wheels, no side-rods, black coupler. Top trim is shiny chrome finish. Paint finish has some wear, mainly edges, is shiny-clean, better than often found. Loco only, no tender, includes original key with light corrosion. It has most sparker parts, but is missing the flint, as usual. Motor winds and ran in-hand when tested, as is, no operation warranty. All Items, including N.O.S. (new-old-stock), are graded and represented as vintage collectibles. Operational ability and characteristics or completeness of vintage motors, mechanisms, wiring, bulbs etc are not guaranteed.
