It has all the details needed to build the guitar including a fret slotting chart, materials list, bracing pattern, bracing profiles, neck details and more. Considered by many to be the ideal fingerstyle guitar, the OM provides superb note definition, and an impressive balance between bass and treble. It has 14 frets to the body like a Dreadnought, but with a narrow-waisted shape more like a 000 model. It is a challenging build as it features all the acoustic guitar trimmings including body binding. A variety of different tone woods can be used to customise the look and sound of the guitar. A ready-made neck can be purchased to reduce the complexity of the build.
